The Family "Kicker" She's a Lifelong Connection

In some families they inherit property goods, but in mine, we inherited a spirit. The spirit is female, an older women that would have been my great Aunt Mae. Yes, she is a family member and oddly enough I had never met her in life; however death is a different story.
In life, she was my Great Aunt through marriage. She came from my mother's side of the family; she was the sister of a generous man of kind heart. He had married my Great Grandmother Dyson just after she became a widow.  My Great Grandfather had died suddenly of a heart attack just after she became pregnant and just before my Grandfather Dyson was born. Ladies and Gentlemen this was at the turn of 1900 when it was so much more than difficult to be an unwed pregnant women.
She is called the "kicker" because of how she manifests; it just so happen it was my siblings and I that began to call her the "kicker". She has visited everyone in the family, my mother when she was alive, my sisters have stories of her as do I. She nudges the mattress on your bed until you awake. When she comes she will keep you awake most of the night; nudging and nudging until you wake. Once you have drifted back off, she will nudge the mattress again repeatedly till you have awaken once again. This will lesson over the course of a night depending upon the immensity and intensity of the events that are to occur.
Last night was a single nudge and it was nice to get sleep since she has had me awake on and off for the better part of two in half weeks now. This is a spirit that always comes when there is changes coming in my life or to those near me. Great Aunt Mae rarely communicates messages and it took me many years to understand that the information she would divulge would change the course of how happenings were to happen. It is because when she visits it is when there is huge things happening in life. She has been an omen of death and disruption in what is happening in life when she is here!
Whats in a name? the name came from all of use realizing the bed would always be nudged and what came next was the kicker. "It is better to have a pat on your back than a kick in the seat of your pants"
