And The Life Light Goes all Around & Around

When a conversation opens with a discussion on spirits many either think of the holy spirit or the paranormal. However you view this, it is still in the minds eye "past tense", we have a tendency to look upon the subject of spirituality as something that affects us in the future, after death.  Those who look at this in life still tend to try to comprehend death and our spiritual being becoming, just that a being; a being that moves on or remains. Do we contemplate in life whether we at death will move on or remain?  We all want to keep an open mind and none of us wants to turn into the type of free roaming vapor presented by the entertainment industry, a ghost.
Spiritual nature is like what they were in life and the reasons they remain and haunt are as various as any free thinking human being might have. For many spirits, where they haunt is familiar especially if change is not in that spirits nature. Thinking patterns exhibited in life and behavior do not change once they are a spirit. They even seem to hold the same social relevancy to the manners, to the value which gave them character in life. This social relevance of a spirit is derived from that which was societies norm while that particular spirit was of the flesh. After all, who we are inside is what we take with us into this change from flesh to consciousness, to spirit.
It is a shame that spirits get a "bad rap" it is not always correct to assume if there is a spirit in your dwelling or with an item your own to think that spirit is necessarily a bad spirit or evil spirit. You will know quickly if it is evil with the tell tail signs that manifest, evil does not waste time. Evil smells of decomposition and sulfur as if a dragon farted on a dead body covered in rotten eggs. Evil likes it cold, I don't know about you but the cold grates my nerves. Evil likes to feed on fear, especially a young person it is as if the youth is an aphrodisiac to evil.
Spirits that remain, are trying to tell us things of which I wish I could say were full of wisdom. For many they are merely trying to find their way; but to do so, there is something they have to do. Examples of that would be seeking forgiveness from someone they harmed or tormented in life. Another is for them to work out their "fear of God", afraid to face their maker to answer for things they have done. Some remain from being removed from life by a future that was beyond their control in life such as war or disease.
