Spiritual Conundrum

Recently I found myself contemplating my soul's future. Began to ask if when upon my death I have bought a one way ticket to Hell by being clairvoyant. It is not as if I had a choice about having this ability, being born with it.
The thought of going to hell infuses my imagination with imagery of tortured souls in flames that can never repent for the sin or sins that got them there. Like many, heaven gives me stereotypical images of everyone on clouds, clad in white toga like garments.  Smiling ever so pleasantly like the Mona Lisa welcoming you to the warming golden glow of the welcoming arms of Jesus.
In these images many of us carry from childhood, do they set the stage in our minds for the afterlife? Since we surmise spirits to relate to thoughts and feelings developed by the residue of living life, these must have been snippets of life that have imprinted upon a soul to inspire that soul to remain or return. More importantly, spirits generally are not found haunting in a lake of fire nor shrouded in golden light upon a fluffy cloud.
Spirit entities that are still with us carry many of these same thoughts; as if some have the fear of God in them.  In this instance it becomes more irony than conundrum in that some spirits will not communicate with you unless you pray and convince them you believe in God. They know the living are like the runners for the Olympics that carries the torch around the world, the living are the embodiment of the light of God. Spirits know we are the way to leave where they dwell now so they linger to find their way.
Sometimes I get confirmation from those I had given readings to that what message came to me was accurate.  It is fulfilling with great joy when my gift has given someone happiness or helped a spirit pass from this place into the light.
For some, handling the responsibility of being able to read is one a clairvoyant has to take into consideration every time you read for someone. we clairvoyants get a bad reputation, this is due to those that charge exorbitant amounts of money for things that are a scam. These are not clairvoyants but more charlatans that are in it for money to take advantage of those who believe.
